The urban car for old, rural people?

Most people I see driving new Buicks are in their late 20s/early 30s these days.

I’m certainly seeing more of that, but it’s still nowhere near the majority.

Well, that’s my impression thinking about it. I’m now going to actively pay attention to see if my impression is correct. There may well be a regional variance to this as well.

GM have a few options when it comes to a small hatchback.
Vauxhall Viva/Opel Karl.
Vauxhall/Opel Adam.
Vauxhall/Opel Corsa.
5 door
3 door
I think the most likely and most suitable would be the Corsa to compete against the Ford Fiesta. The Viva/Karl and Adam maybe on the too smaller side for the U.S. market.
Though an outside guess would be the Vauxhall/Opel Astra. The Astra already has some history under the now defunct Saturn brand but would be suitable to take on the Ford Focus and to a degree the Ford Fiesta.
The new Astra is quite a good looking car.

I’m probably just going to forget about this within the next 45 seconds after watching some funny cat video on Youtube.

True, but it’s been confirmed that the average age of a Buick buyer has been on a rather steady drop the last few years.
The most recent article I can find says it’s dropped below 60, when less than a decade ago, the average was well over 70.

I don’t think I’ve seen a Buick in Southern California, but I probably just haven't been paying attention.

Correction, the Astra was a nice car until the new one was revealed.

That is hideous. And I like most atrocious cars.

That overweight POS? Aside from the fact that it looks uglier, the new one is better in every way, because LIGHTWEIGHTER.
